Objective
· Students will be able to identify Caribbean poetry.
· Students will be able to identify Caribbean poets.
· Students will be able to understand the imagery associated the Caribbean poetry.
Rescources
Things we will need:
· Projector
· Projector Screen
· Laptop
· A class of intrigued children.
Methodology
1. Start by asking what people think might be Caribbean poetry and then erase the stereotypes.
2. Talk about the characteristics of Caribbean poetry.
3. Talk about the actual poets and their works.
4. Analysis of certain poems.
5. Conclude.
Evaluation
· We will ask our classmates what they have learnt through this experience.
